Should John Edwards be charged with treason?

Should democratic candidate John Edwards be charged with treason? It
appears that John Edwards is attempting to turn America into a
socialist country. He has proposed a socialist health care plan that
would force every American to see a doctor when the government wants
them to. Can somebody tell me where in the US constitution does the
federal government get the authority to require all Americans to see a
doctor and for tax payers to pay for it? Since John Edwards is running
as a presidential candidate and proposing a policy that clearly
violates the United States constitution, he should be at least
disqualified as a presidential candidate. Either he doesn't know the
US constitution or he has no respect for people's right to control
their own lives. You people that support John Edwards should be
ashamed of yourselves.
