If you want Ron Paul to have a chance at actually winning, don't annoy the digg community.

The Digg community seems to be getting annoyed with Ron Paul
supporters. This is not good if we actually want Ron Paul to have a
chance at winning an election. For one thing, people are submiting Ron
Paul stories to the wrong place. For some reason, a story about Ron
Paul being offered a private jet for his campaign was posted under the
technology and Apple category on Digg. Somebody commented that things
like this gives them more of an impression that Ron Paul supporters are
retarded. Whether you like it or not, we have to win these people over
in order for Ron Paul to have a good chance at winning. This election
is too important to be giving people bad impressions by posting stories
about Ron Paul where they don't belong.

  • Can't scold the supporters as a whole for what a few anonymous jackasses do. Each person is an individual and responsible for their own actions. Decent RP stories are still getting to the front page with relative ease. Certain elements of the Digg community have been vocally against Ron Paul since day one and that'll never change. The Internet also allows for people to anonymously try to make someone else look bad. A majority of the Digg community is sensible enough to realize that a few jackasses who submit to the wrong category are not representative of his views.
