What will you do if the Feds raid Ed Brown?

As many of you may be aware, Washington is thought to be under some
pressure to have tax protesters Ed and Elaine Brown in the courthouse
for their sentencing April 24. The Plainfield, New Hampshire couple
have been holed up in their house since their conviction on tax charges
in January. Ed is carrying a .45 and has promised to fire upon any
government agent attempting to arrest him or his wife. Ed's not
perfect, but at least he's taking a stand and hasn't harmed anyone.
I'm told it will be an a very unusual ocurrance if they are sentenced
in absentia. On the other hand, authorities have repeatedly stated they
will not initiate an armed confrontation.
In any case we should be especially ready for the possibility of a raid
sometime in the next few weeks, and we should each be considering what
we are going to do if it ocurrs. I tend to think that the best things
to do are those which we do on our own initiative, and which are
telegraphed to the authorities in advance. However if you are just
hunting around for ideas, or you don't have all the information you
need to carry out some type of response...This post should assist you
even if you're outside New Hampshire.
Here is a list of potential action items which would be appropriate and
practical to carry out during the first 48 hours after an attack. Some
of them you can carry out now.
1) Go to calendar.nhfree.com and see what types of flash events have
been scheduled to occur in response to the raid. Attend them or promote
them if you can.
2) Head to your nearest Federal facility with a sign of some type. Plan
on being alone at first. Staples has good sign making material...big
posterboards are best with lettering at least six inches tall,
otherwise car traffic will not be able to read your sign. Better to
have this material on hand now, so you are not scrambling to acquire it
after the spit hits the fan. You will be three times as effective and
visible if you also have a rattlesnake flag and pole. If you need to
buy those; e-mail me at dave97635 (that's a hotmail dotcom address). I
accept both Fed dollars and precious metals. I'm posting below some
ideas for signs.
3) Write a letter to the editor of a nearby paper expressing your
concern. In New Hampshire The Concord Monitor, Keene Free Press and the
Union Leader seem to print most of the pro liberty letters they
receive, and you can be from anywhere in the state. The Keene Sentinel
seems to be pretty good about printing our letters if written from the
Keene area. Keep them under 200 words in all cases if possible,
especially with the Union Leader.
4) Join some political web forums and voice there your support for Ed
and Elaine. I've included a list of good forums below. Better to join
now and be ready than to join after the event.
5) Call relevant officials to express your concern. I've included a list below.
6) Maybe go to Ed Brown's house? Haven't really given this much
thought. Certainly I hope more folks will go there beforehand as a
deterrent. His address: 401 Center of Town Road Plainfield, New Hampshire 03781
But again...the important thing is to be ready, and do *something*
constructive in response to any raid or seizure of our flinty acquaintence.

and set up a couple of demonstrations to ocurr within that time frame.
These will likely be protests in front of Federal facilities in
Manchester, Nashua or Keene. Then I'll probably start working on new
signs that match the new situation, and endeavor to attend the
demonstrations. Subject to certain change, that's my default plan.
What's yours?

get Ron Paul envited to a town hall meeting

Moveon.org is having a virtual town meeting where they will ask
presidential candidates about Iraq. They will envite the candidates
that get at least 10% of the vote. Get Ron Paul envited and ask a
question at the following link.

Terrorists could acquire REAL ID cards

D o w n s i z e r - D i s p a t c h
Jim Harper, of the Cato Institute, has taken a good hard look at the
REAL ID Act. Here's his conclusion: If the REAL ID Act had been in
place before 9-11 the 9-11 terrorists would have had no problem
acquiring REAL ID's.
This leads us to reprise the Groucho Marx quote we featured last week:
"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere,
diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies."
The REAL ID Act is Exhibit A. It won't work. It isn't needed. It costs
too much. The only people it will burden are innocent Americans.
So how does Congress respond? It wants to fix the REAL ID Act, and a
Senate subcomittee is holding hearings today (Monday) for that purpose.
This is simply another wrong remedy.
Please send Congress a message telling them NOT to try to fix the REAL
ID Act, but simply to repeal it by going to

Income Tax Panel Added to GML 2007

On March 3rd we posted an article titled "Judiciary vs. Judiciary,"
which introduced you to Shreveport, Louisiana attorney Tommy Cryer. The
article began with this sentence:
"If all attorneys are officers of the courts that make up the judicial
branch of the government, then the government now has one of its best
and brightest members challenging the legality of the operation and
enforcement of the federal income tax system on constitutional and
statutory grounds."
Mark our words, Tom Cryer is going to make a positive difference in the
People's quest for the truth regarding the fraudulent origin and
illegal operation of the federal income tax system. He has a lot going
for him. Read more at

Dr. Edwin Vieira Speaks...

Now, one of the things, though, that I would like to raise as an issue,
for your consideration, is a peculiarity that I see between the two
subject matters; one, the money issue, the Federal Reserve, if you
will, on the one hand, and the income tax on the other hand. I've
studied the money issue, case law, statutory law, historical
descriptions of what went on, from, I don't know, the Middle 1600's in
England up until now. And one of the things you discover, or at least I
have discovered, going through all of that, is that the powers that be,
very systematically changed the laws as they went along, or they wrote
the court opinions in such a way as to rationalize, perhaps not
justify, but at least to rationalize, what they were doing.
So you can see a kind of logical progression or degeneration in the
statutory and case law from the early days, from the Constitution, from
1789, up until the present time. And they really didn't hide any of
this. It's there if you're willing to look. Fascinating thing is, most
people aren't willing to look. But, it's not a deep, dark secret.
Whereas, in the area of the income tax, there seems to be, at least to
my mind, an anomaly. That is, if I were in charge, politically, of this
system, and I had a vast mass of people out there believing that they
had to pay these taxes and they had to file these forms and keep these
records and perform all of these various functions, even if I knew that
the "16th Amendment" hadn't been ratified or that there was some other
basic constitutional flaws in what I was doing, it really wouldn't
bother me too much, to write the tax statutes and regulations
consistently with what the masses of people thought those statutes and
regulations said. Why would I care? It's all a con game anyway, right?
I'm lying left and right. I can lie in this statute as well I lie in
that statute. What difference does it make? Why would I not write the
tax code and the tax regulations in the way everybody believes the tax
code and the tax regulations are already written?
And I leave that with you, because I think that's a fascinating
psychological problem. Read more at

public school teachers think they are always right

In a previous post on this blogg, I discussed a teacher I had at the
Florida School for the blind, or should I say so-called teacher. The
story about Shaquanda Cotton braught me back to my middle and high
school days, so I thought I would talk about another nutty teacher at
the Florida School for the Blind. Her name is Jody Casteel. When I
was there, she was a middle school English teacher. To be fair, she
was a little better than Mrs. Myers, because she actually taught
English. As long as you didn't make any spelling or gramar mistakes,
everything was fine. However, if somebody misspelled one word, she was
liable to scream at them. Evidently, it's OK if this behavior is done
by a teacher, but if a student raised her voice at her, that was unacceptable.
That's OK because public school teachers are angels of God.

black girl in Paris Texas sentenced to 7 years for pushing hall monitor

I heard about this story on the Free Talk Live radio show and I could
hardly believe it.
Shaquanda Cotton, a 14 year old girl was sentenced to seven years in
prison for pushing a hall monitor at her middle school. She was
sentenced in March of 2006 and she has been in prison since then.
Since the other children in her juvenile prison are in there for crimes
that are alot more severe, she is so afraid of them that she has tried
to kill herself more than once according to a comment she made. Read

Ron Paul On Taxes

By Ron Paul
October 16, 2006
In Washington we hear a lot of talk about tax cuts, but the rhetoric
does not always match the reality. For most Americans, taxes remain too
complex and too high. After the tumult of the upcoming midterm
election, it is imperative that Congress gets back to basics and
addresses our terrible tax system.
Lower taxes benefit all Americans by increasing economic growth and
encouraging wealth creation. I'm in favor of cutting everybody's taxes
– rich, poor, and otherwise. Whether a tax cut reduces a single
mother's payroll taxes by forty dollars a month, or allows a business
owner to save thousands in capital gains and hire more employees, the
net effect is beneficial. Both either spend, save, or invest the extra
dollars, which helps all of us more than if those dollars were sent to
the black hole known as the federal Treasury.
Many conservatives have touted the Fair Tax proposal as an issue in the
upcoming election. A pure consumption tax like the Fair Tax would be
better than the current system only if we truly did away with the
income tax by repealing the 16th amendment. Otherwise, we could end up
with both the income tax and a national sales tax. A consumption tax
also provides more transparency and less complexity. But the real issue
is total spending by government, not tax reform. In other words, why
change the tax structure if spending stays the same? Once we accept
that the federal government needs $2.7 trillion from us-- and more each
year-- the only question left is from whom it will be collected. Until
the federal government is held to its proper constitutionally limited
functions, tax reform will remain a mirage.

MySpace censor’s viral Ed & Elaine Brown bulletin code.

Casey Lee Cobb | Show Ed The Law | March 18th 2007
It really is telling about what America has become a dictatorial power
where corporate America will go so far as to censor free speech and
stifle the tax honesty movement. About a week or two ago, I created an
Ed and Elaine Brown bulletin in a User friendly format so that it could
be easily self replicated by fellow patriots, making the reposting of
said bulletin a very simple thing to do.
It was a huge hit among the MySpace community, Ed and Elaine Brown
supporters from all parts of the U.S. helped to make the bulletin viral
by spreading the message in support of showing Ed the law. However much
to my dismay, I started to notice that the bulletin would no longer
post. It was almost as if part of the code was flagged in some secret
MySpace bulletin moderation database, so that when any one tried to
repost the bulletin it would simply fail to appear on the board.
Just to be sure, I contacted several MySpace friends to confirm, they
were not able to post the bulletin either. So one week the code works,
and everything is just peachy, and the next week a dark shadow is cast
upon truth seekers everywhere, and we experience a cold shudder of
outright blatant censorship. I'm thinking that MySpace, does not want
the revolution to be televised….? I wonder why, I wonder who is pulling
their strings ? I wonder if this article has enough power of persuasion
to release the block on my bulletin? Time will most certainly tell.
Visit http://openyourmindseye.googlepages.com/operationtelevised.htm to
see the bulletin in question.

Subject:

For the last few weeks, this broadcast has been covering different
presidential candidates. I listen to the broadcast regularly and Ron
Paul wasn't mentioned once. Why not? Ron Paul is running for the
republican nomination, but he is not like other republicans that people
think of today. For one thing, he voted against the war in Iraq from
the start. Read more at http://www.dailypaul.com/

From The Reader Comments of the Quest for Fair Trial in Concord, NH blog

TrueLogic said...
PREVOIUS POST.
I am so tired of hearing "Ron Paul pays Taxes" "So n So pays Taxes" or
"Ed Brown and so n so DON'T pay their Taxes".
The Simple TRUTH is...
Until EVERYONE KNOWS FOR SURE Who is, or is not LEGALLY LIABLE to pay
INCOME TAX... It is totally irrelevant, and Frivolous of US, to believe
that We ARE, or We are NOT.
If You Believe that you SHOULD pay Income Tax... Then Fine. Pay it. I'm
sure no one will complain. (Until they want you to pay MORE.)
If you BELIEVE, that you are in Fact, NOT LIABLE for Income Tax... And
Written Law itself does not show YOU, to be Liable for it... Then you
SHOULD NOT pay it.
Since 90 or more percent of the CITIZENS, DONT EVEN KNOW THE LAW
EXEMPTS THEM, and they WILLINGLY continue to pay it... This should be
good enough for the IRS, the Treasury, and their Bulldogs.
Think of all the Money they're still Making. (Unlawfully)... To fund
Wars, and yet further our National Debt, and Continue to break us down,
year by grueling year.
They are so selfish, and so corrupt... And so Arrogant... That they
instead twist the LAW, Abuse the LAW, Mock the LAW, infringe upon and
BREAK the LAW, UnJustly and Brutally Enforce the LAW, totally and
Knowingly DENY the LAW, call the LAW "frivolous" names, give the LAW
Deceiving names, and overall, give the LAW a BAD name.
And they do it in our Faces! And the Jury's!
Then they Convict the Innocent CITIZEN and Levy against (steal from)
them upon NONEXISTANT WHIMSICAL GHOST LAWS... The list of Crimes they
commit is as long as that of some of the worst FELONS you could imagine.
I feel desperation for those who cannot see this happening... Pity for
those who unwittingly agree with it... And Spite for those who aid in
Corruption and Terrorism against the AMERICAN CITIZEN.
These are the very people who write LAWS to protect Themselves against
charges of TREASON!!! The very People who now write, and change the
LAWS whenever, and however They desire.
If The Law... says that YOU... Are NOT... Liable for INCOME TAX... Then
DON'T pay it!
Consider the INCOME TAX You pay as "SWEAT MONEY", soon to become "BLOOD MONEY".
Now... ...Go find out if YOU... Are Liable.

pollster bias against small government candidate

The web site http://www.2008horserace.com/ has a poll in which people
can vote on their favorite presidential candidate for 2008. It lists
the candidates from both parties so the poll is objective right? It
seems not to be. The candidate Ron Paul is now listed as a spammer.
Supposidly, it was because somebody hacked the site to give him more
votes. According to the results, some of the other candidates got more
votes such as the candidates that got 15% of the vote. Maybe they got
too many votes. Shouldn't they be listed as spammers? Perhaps the
pollster just can't believe that somebody who is against the IRS and
the federal reserve can actually be popular. Maybe this pollster hangs
out with a lot of democrats who's main solution to social problems is
another government program. Because of this, he or she thinks
everybody thinks that way. Another problem with the site is that it
partially blocks blind people from participating. Blind people can
select a candidate, but they can't make comments. I went to make a
comment about Ron Paul being listed as a spammer, but there is one of
those image captchas. Somebody has to enter what they see in the image
before they can comment. Screen readers can't read what is on those
images, so I couldn't comment.

One of the planks of the communist party is that they support a

The press, too, is fearful and intimidated by the IRS. As such, don't
expect to but rarely see a story about the criminal activities of IRS
agents on the evening news or in your newspaper or news magazine. The
wire services (e.g. AP) have distributed numerous newsworthy stories of
IRS abuse, but the mainstream press hardly ever publish them. One of
those rare exceptions was the October 13, 1997 edition of Newsweek, the
cover story being entitled, "Inside the IRS: Lawless, Abusive and Out
Of Control."
The magnitude of IRS abuse warrants that several cover stories each
year be devoted to its coverage. Yet, we can count on one hand the
number of times the mainstream press has devoted their ink to exposing
IRS abuse. The only income tax-related stories the mainstream press
faithfully covers are those which serve to scare the people into
"paying their fair share." For all intents and purposes, the mainstream
press is a lapdog of the IRS.
It would seem that the only people who aren't afraid of the IRS are IRS
employees. Since the chief motivation for filing tax returns is usually
fear of the IRS, and since many IRS employees don't fear the IRS (and
they would certainly be in the ideal position to game the system),
hundreds of IRS employees don't file tax returns. How is the IRS to
maintain any sense of credibility with the public when many of it's own
employees hold themselves above the same laws that they are charged
with enforcing? Read more at http://hushmoney.org/power-to-tax.htm

A lot of Americans don't know their history

Most American's don't understand their own history
I find that most American's don't understand their own history. The
public schools rewrite it. If only people knew the real reason why we
don't have a law for an income tax in this country: Our forefathers
designed it that way. I think that more people would be accepting of
the idea that there is no law requiring individuals to pay income tax
if they understood why our forefathers gave us the Constitution that they did.
Our American forefathers knew what they were doing when they made
federal income taxes illegal. They were fully aware that history
abounded with examples of governments encroaching on the liberties of
its citizens. James Madison wrote, "Since the general civilization of
mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the
freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in
power than by violent and sudden usurpation." This is the reason why
they only gave the federal government two means of collecting taxes,
knowing full well that it is taxes that grow governments.
The first method allows the federal government to tax the states
(direct taxes apportioned). This forces the federal government to
negotiate with entities large and powerful enough to resist. This
provides for the balance of power principle our forefathers valued so
immensely and interwove so intricately into a government that has thus
far withstood the test of time.
The second method allowed for the federal government to tax the
individual, but only if the individual had the option not to pay those
taxes, as is the case for alcohol, and tobacco (indirect taxes
unapportioned). This allowed an individual to say within their selves,
"I do not like the way my government is spending my money, so I am not
going to give them anymore by buying this or that product that I would
enjoy ordinarily." The decision to buy or not to buy is far easier and
far more effective than hitching a ride on a horse and carriage to
Washington and holding up placards. Our forefathers knew that the
demands of life do not always allow us the time to formally petition
our government. Besides, placards can be ignored. The purse ... not so easy.
Instead of our forefather's original vision, today we have the federal
government railroading the individual into paying income taxes under
threat of prison or the confiscation of their property. Just as our
forefathers feared, the federal government has grown large and
unaccountable to the people, sending "swarms of Officers to harass our
people, and eat out of their substance." (Declaration of Independence.)
And the federal government actively does all of this without ever
having altered the Constitution (in other words, illegally). Read more

Ron Paul in the race for 2008

For a few weeks, congressmen Ron Paul has been exploring the
possibility of seeking the republican nomination for president in 2008.
Today, he announced that he is in the race. Ron Paul is technically a
republican, but he is not like one of those republicans that want to
increase the military. He voted against the Iraq war from the start
and he has voted against other bills to increase defense spending.

Shouldn't congress read the bills it passes?

I would think that most people would answer yes to this question.
Unfortunately, this isn't the way congress operates. Often,
congressmen and women will vote to pass a law before they've even
gotten a chance to read the bill. An organization called Downsize DC
is doing something to change this by introducing the Read The Bills
Act. Among other things, this bill would require all congressmen and
women to sign Affidavits saying that they've read a bill before they
can vote on it. Read more at http://www.downsizedc.org/

Donna,
This is the latest. Also, for your information, these e-mails should be
posted on the "Quest for a Fair Trial" site. Thanks
Bill
The United States District Court for the Western of Michigan is on Trial
I will be visiting Chuck Conces at the Newagao facility in White Cloud,
MI tomorrow. We won't have a lot of time because of the limit for
prisoner visits. Thirty five minutes for up to seven visitors. I talked
to Chuck's wife last night and she said that she had not talked to him
recently, so there is no new news to pass along. We are not sure at
this point if Chuck was able to formally file the forms for appealing
the order used to incarcerate him. I will ask for a meeting with
certain members of the Lawmen after my visit in order to discuss the
situation. Conces is alleged to have violated a court order stemming
from the Department of Justice's civil lawsuit against him.
All the Lawman should make this their mantra to the media, "There was
no violation, because there was no civil lawsuit. There was no lawsuit
because there was no Authorization."
IRC Sec.7401; AUTHORIZATION: "No civil action for the collection or
recovery of taxes, or of any fine, penalty or forfeiture, shall be
commenced unless the secretary (of the Treasury) authorizes the
proceedings and the Attorney General or his delegate directs that the
action be commenced."
Additionally, there are no witnesses for the DOJ that prove Mr. Conces
had ever done any of the things they have alleged in their complaint.
Amazingly, Conces is in jail without the DOJ having any witness
testimony that would back up their flimsy allegations against Chuck.
The United States Court for the Western District of Michigan is really
the one on trial here, not Chuck Conces. Judge Robert H. Bell is the
Chief Judge in that district and has been up to no good. There is big
trouble in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of
Michigan. Don't take my word for it; take the National Judicial Conduct
and Disability Law Project, Inc.; Whistleblowers for an Honest,
Efficient and Accountable Government's, word for it. According to the
above funded government project, two of the top 25 offenders (Judges)
through out these United States are from you guessed it, the Western
District of Michigan. Both Judges, the Chief Judge, Robert H. Bell, and
his infamous colleague Gordon J. Quist, made the list. These two judges
have been reported to the U.S. Congressional judiciary committees, for
their blatant violations of litigants' constitutional rights. Chief
Judge Bell, after receiving irrefutable evidence that attorney's for
Ford Motor Co. used fraud in order to obtain a favorable judgment,
refused to grant pro se litigant (Bill Price) relief from his original
order of dismissal. Consequently, by virtue of Bell's complicit action
with Ford's attorneys, after the new irrefutable evidence proved that
fraud was used, makes Judge Robert H. Bell a felon. Bell's refusal to
correct his judgment in light of such strong proof leaves reasonable
speculation that the Chief Judge may be open to bribes. The evidence is
all available for your inspection at www.article1-taxation.com. Simply
select the button that says, Can You Say Fraud. Three one page exhibits
reveal that the Chief Judge for the Western District of Michigan made a
deal with Ford Motor Co. and their attorneys.
Judge Quist was reported by Charles F. Conces for several violations,
including those involving his constitutional rights. Quist acted as an
attorney for Defendant, Jeffery D. Eppler, an alleged IRS Operations
Manager. Eppler failed to answer Conces's complaint according to the
demands in the summons. A person has 20 days to respond according to
law. Eppler did nothing and Conces moved the court to enter a default
judgment accordingly. Quist, then acting entirely on his own, dismissed
Conces's complaint almost 3 months after it was filed, an unprecedented
move for any judge to make. The defendant Eppler never made an
appearance, yet Quist acted on Eppler's behalf and gave him a dismissal
he never asked for. Wow! This type of behavior calls into question
Judge Quist's competence to sit on the bench. Chuck Conces, as I
understand according to Title 35, is a whistleblower against Judge
Quist and as such, Quist is obligated recuse himself from this case.
This may just be a case of an evil judge with a grudge.
The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan continues
to gather evidence against itself. More eyes are opening every day to
the problems in our courts, and the Western District of Michigan is
becoming famous. I will tell all of you that Chuck Conces is not in a
panic and would be very disappointed in us if we chose to get in one.
There are two battles going on right now, one in the courts, and
another, which is proving much harder for our adversary to control, in
the court of public opinion. We need to methodically press on in both
fronts. These abuses in the courts can only continue if they remain
obscure. Part of our job is to make sure that they don't.

Freedom to Fascism, an Orwellian Odyssey
"Come writers and critics who prophesize with your pen – keep your eyes
open wide this chance won't come again – and don't speak too soon for
the wheel is still in spin, and there's no telling who it will be
naming …. for the times they are a changing…" Bob Dylan 1964.
Lately some writers and critics have tried to forewarn the middle class
of the coming crisis. Pat Buchanan's effort to sound the alarm against
NAFTA, GATT and the WTO, is a recent example. The media conglomerates
have shown time and again just how easily they can manage such forays
into the public consciousness. The wheel of fate alluded to in Dylan's
song has come to rest. Names have been named, places revealed, dates
are now known and the future then, now occupies its place in history.
George Orwell would have been pleased to see this day in America.
Orwell's novels "Animal Farm" and "1984" predicted a state of
totalitarianism in the world. Regrettably, Orwell did not live to see
the phenomena you are about to witness. The movie "America, Freedom to
Fascism" is an expose' on the Federal Income Tax, the Federal Reserve
Banking/system and finally the facts about an international cartel that
has been very busy "arranging" your entire future. It is more powerful
than anything you have seen. Ironically, these world planners featured
in Aaron Russo's movie, have something in common with George Orwell,
their most notable critic. The cartel's global plan for the middle
class, and the title of Mr. Orwell's most famous book, could very well
share the same name, "Animal Farm"
"Animal Farm" released in 1945 was an ominous warning to the world.
There was another ominous release that year, the atomic bombs over
Nagasaki and Hiroshima. "Freedom to Fascism" was released in 2006 and
with it, something even more powerful than the atomic bomb, the truth.
"Gather round people wherever you roam, and admit that the waters
around you have grown - so you better start swimming or you'll sink
like a stone, if to you your time is worth saving, for the times they
are a changing…"
Is our time worth saving? Spread the word, by using the most powerful
weapon known to man, the truth. Watch and share "America, Freedom to Fascism".
"Keep your eyes open wide this chance won't come again…for the times
they are a changing..."
This introduction was prepared by Bill Price. The producer and director
of "America, Freedom to Fascism", Aaron Russo does not necessarily
endorse the views expressed herein. For additional information on the

closing argument

Here is a good article written by Fred Marshall. Lawyers in income tax
cases should consider using this as their closing argument.
I've been studying the subject of the legality/illegality of income
taxes for about 12 years now, and have learned a great deal of good
information.
It is not possible, in my view, to discredit many of the conclusions to
which the evidence presented by Larken Rose, Irwin Schiff, and Tommy
Cryer lead. But the evidence is complex and comprehensive and requires
a thorough and in-depth examination before the logical conclusion can
be reached and, even then, the conclusion is neither indelibly clear
nor conspicuous nor self-evident to the "man-on-the-street." If
presented to a jury, the evidence would do little more than confuse 99%
of them, and the conclusions they would reach would be more influenced
by their "everybody-knows" conventional wisdom than by the gravity of
the facts presented to them.
Here is an explanation I have used in private conversations, but have
never seen presented elsewhere, and is one I believe juries would understand:
Addressing the jury:
1. The claim that there is no law....requiring the average American to
pay income taxes and file tax returns.... has been made as far back as
the early 1960's at least, perhaps even earlier. Those who made the
claim were typically labeled as "kooks," "conspiracy theorists," and
"tax cheats."
2. Yet the claim persisted, and re-surfaced year in and year out,
albeit from a small number of people who had labored through the
endless turning of pages at law libraries.
3. Many such people challenged the IRS with their research and the
IRS's response was not to show them the law but, instead, to put them
in jail to silence them. The victims of that ruthless tactic went to
jail without having seen a law.
4. Then people began formally writing the Secretary of the Treasury,
the Commissioner of Internal Revenue Service, the Attorney General, 535
members of Congress, the administrators of the Federal Register, Law
Professors, and so-called legal scholars everywhere. Though a few
members of Congress, and the keepers of the Federal Register, HAVE
responded on rare occasions in earlier years by stating in writing that
no entry in the Federal Register has ever identified a specific law
requiring the paying of income taxes or filing of tax returns, no such
admission has ever been made by the IRS, Treasury, or DOJ. There has
been no such response by ANYONE in government in recent years.
5. Meanwhile, the IRS and DOJ has continued to discredit and put in
jail the people who spoke out and insisted "there is no law."
6. There can be no question that the senior key people in all these
government agencies have long known ofthe alleged "controversy." They
have chosen to remain silent on the subject, speaking out only
sufficiently to acknowledge that the tax code is "confusing," but
insist that the claim, and the alleged evidence upon which it was
founded, is ridiculous, frivolous, anti-American, and is only asserted
by dishonest people who don't want to pay their "fair share."
7. Since the Internet has made researching the law relatively
easy....as compared to the physical turning of pages in law
libraries....and has made the results achieved more reliable than ever
before, the number of people insisting there is no law has grown from a
few to a few hundred thousand. This steadily expanding body of citizens
includes educated people, professional people, doctors, dentists,
businessmen and women, CPA's, former IRS agents, and a growing number
of lawyers. These people are NOT kooks, they are NOT conspiracy
theorists, they are NOT dishonest, and they don't wish to avoid paying
any obligation they legitimately owe. They believe that if you see
someone stealing from your neighbor, you ought to tell him.
8. After "government" has been painfully aware of the "confusion" and
"controversy" for several decades, a prudent person would expect that
the Congress would simply pass legislation that would clarify the issue
and make the requirement (that most Americans are liable to pay income
taxes and file returns) clear and unambiguous, eliminate the confusion,
and put the "controversy" to rest, once and for all. They certainly
would do that if there were any question as to the legality or
illegality of murder or armed robbery or rape or child molestation.
9. But they haven't. The Congress has been tight-lipped and has said
nothing. The DOJ and IRS have said, when accused of not answering the
people's questions, "We ARE answering the questions. We're answering
them with prosecutions." Instead of explaining their position to the
people they profess to serve, they pull out a club and beat them over
the head and say "You have to pay taxes and file returns because we SAY
you do, and that's all you need to know."
10. Fifty years. Five decades. Two score and ten years. Half a century.
In all that time, consider how much money the federal government has
spent on investigations, raids of people's homes and offices,
prosecutions, costs of trials, incarcerations, paying welfare to
families left unsupported when heads of households go to prison,
feeding and clothing and providing health care for those who they have
incarcerated, and on and on the list of expenses goes, to say nothing
of the untold numbers of people who have committed suicide because of
IRS harassment, threats, and persecutions. That tactic has been a very
expensive "non-solution" to a problem they could have easily solved 40
or 50 years ago by simply passing into law an amendment that would need
be no more than two or three paragraphs printed on a piece of paper.
There are many taxes legitimately required by the tax code that are
unequivocal and are plainly stated in simple language any reader can
understand, but that is not the case with regard to the individual
income tax. Why the law continues to imply, but deliberately not state
a requirement, remains a mystery clouded in secrecy.
11. That brings up the question "WHY?" Why has Congress not amended the
tax code to eliminate the "confusion" and the attendant "controversy,"
once and for all time?
12. Permit me to suggest the answer:...the only answer that makes any
sense. "Because to pass such an amendment, clearly imposing a tax upon
the wages and salaries, upon the labor and private property of U.S.
Citizens, would violate the CONSTITUTION, and they aren't about to do
that. It's much more profitable to just keep on extorting a TRILLION
DOLLARS each year from an uninformed and gullible public, by using
brute POWER and the force of arms to intimidate and terrorize the
general population, and drive ever-increasing numbers of them to suicide.
In closing, ladies and gentlemen of the jury....TODAY....YOU are the
LAW. Today you can begin to turn the tide that will eliminate the
illegal and unconstitutional taxes you and most Americans have been
intimidated into paying since your first job at McDonald's, or wherever
you began your earning life. As a jury, you have more power today than
the Supreme Court of the United States, more power than all the
lawyers, all the federal prosecutors and all the federal judges
combined. Today you can return a verdict of NOT GUILTY that no power on
earth can overturn, a verdict that you need never explain or justify to
ANYONE, inside or outside of government, and a verdict that no one and
no government agency can ever retaliate against you for rendering. Your
decision can be questioned only by your own conscience and by God Almighty.
Today you can do your civic duty to uphold the Constitution of the
United States of America....when these representatives of government
WILL NOT....and you can join for posterity those 56 brave men who
pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. As Jesus
Christ has said "I go to prepare a place for you," so too can you tell
your children and grandchildren "I have helped to prepare a better
place for you and your children." You can display and preserve your
sacred honor TODAY for the whole world to see! You can do more today
than all the juries which have gone before you in the past 50 years.
And you can forever hold your heads high, for you will truly be heroes.
This defendant CANNOT BE FOUND GUILTY, unless and until someone SHOWS
US THE LAW.
Thank you.

should school be public or private?

I think it's safe to say that most parents want their children to go to
school. However, something that parents should ask is whether they
want their children to be educated or babysat. Public schools have no
motivation to do a good job of educating because they will get funded
either way. However, if a school is privately owned, they won't make
profits unless parents choose to send their children to those schools.
For an example of how bad government schools can do, I'll give the
reader a personal story about the Florida School for the Blind.
I went to the Florida school for the Blind from 6th grade through the
12th grade. From the 6th through the 8th grade, I had a teacher named
Mrs. Myers. She was supposed to teach Science, Social Studies, History
and reading. Out of those classes, the only thing she taught on a
regular bases was Reading. For the other classes, we mostly watched
movies and played games.

DOJ Dismisses Felony Tax Prosecution

With Prejudice -- After PRA Defense Raised
Evidence OMB Complicit In Income Tax Fraud
DOJ & IRS Petitioned To Explain
On May 12, 2006 in Peoria, Illinois, the attorney for the U.S.
Department of Justice (DOJ) begged the court to dismiss all charges
against IRS victim Robert Lawrence in federal District Court.
The motion for dismissal came on the heels of a surprise tactic by
Lawrence's defense attorney Oscar Stilley.
The tactic threatened exposure of IRS's on-going efforts to defraud the
public. The move put DOJ attorneys in a state of panic that left them
with only one alternative: beg for dismissal, with prejudice.
Stilley's tactic paid off. Sixty days earlier, the DOJ had indicted
Lawrence on three counts of willful failure to file a 1040 form, and
three felony counts of income tax evasion. The federal Judge dismissed
all charges with prejudice, meaning the DOJ cannot charge Lawrence with
those crimes again.

A lot of times, when there is a social or economic problem, it seems
that people's first reaction is to try to get a government program
started to solve the problem. Libertarian Harry Brown, who died about
a year ago gave seven reasons why government should not be depended on
to solve these problems.
1. Government is force. adding government programs often means
raising taxes. Some of us don't want to pay money to the government to
solve problems, thank you very much. We would rather choose charities
to donate money to. Charities that are known for doing the most good
will get the most money. With government however, you are forced to
give money to it whether it is efficient or not.
2. Government is politics. One year, you may have a certain social
program that you depend on. The moment other politicians get elected,
that social program can be taken away.
3. You don't control government. For example, when you pay income tax
to the federal government, they can use it for wars and agencies that
you don't agree with.
4. Government programs will be more expensive and more expansive than
you think.
5. Power will always be misused.
6. Government doesn't work because it is force. For example, during
hurricane Katrina, FEMA was extremely inefficient. Private businesses
such as Walmart tried to help but the government turned them away. I
guess somebody didn't want to give up their power. Heaven forbid if it
was shown that private businesses were more efficient than government.
7. Government must be subject to absolute limits. If not, people in
government will find ways to take more control over it's citizens. An
example of this is the Bush administration's detaining people without
trial. Don't anybody try to tell me that this is OK because those
people are terrorists. I've heard that time and time again. Until
those so-called terrorists are found guilty by a jury, I am going to
assume they are innocent.

The incarceration of Chuck Conces

I received word of Chuck's incarceration last night by e-mail as did
everyone else. There is an attempt underway to get him released with a
writ of Habeus Corpus.
I just wanted to let everyone know that this is absolute confirmation
for me of the desperation of the government to keep the truth of the
income tax situation from the people. I have known Chuck for over three
years via the joint meetings held by the Lawman and WTPC of Michigan. I
was present at every meeting but one or two during those three years.
As a matter of fact, I almost always picked him up in Battle Creek and
drove him to the meetings myself and we shared an hour of travel in
each direction. That allowed me to get to know him probably better than
anyone else in the groups and I can tell you as a fact that I have
never met anyone of higher integrity than Chuck. To the best of my
knowledge, he NEVER advised or helped anyone to fill out a tax return.
He was always adamant that the groups stay away from known scams and
un-supportable positions.
He never sold anything other than a CD with material on it that is
public information and freely available in the law libraries around the
country. How can showing people what the law says and what the courts
have ruled be called frivolous and a tax scam? When the government is
so desperate to silence the truth that it incarcerates an innocent man
for not complying with something that it has no jurisdiction to order
in the first place and for not producing something that he doesn't have
in the second place (a list of clients), it is nothing short of an act
of lawlessness in itself.
It saddens me to know that government agents and judges in this country
are so devoid of integrity that they will follow orders from whoever it
is that they consider to be an authority to tell them to do these
things without even questioning the motive or the facts of the case. It
is obvious that protecting their own gravy train is much more important
to them than the guilt or innocence of one of our citizens.
What I have learned about Chuck is that he, like me, is a seeker and
disseminator of the truth and that he holds the teachings of the
Supreme Authority above all else. If that is grounds for incarceration,
then there are a lot of us in this country who had better prepare for it.
Best regards,
Ron Goodger
WTPC Michigan State Coordinator

TAX CODE SHOULD BE VOID FOR Vagueness

the whole TAX CODE SHOULD BE VOID FOR Vagueness -One of the most common
is that the statute does not pass the Void for Vagueness Doctrine. The
legal concept of void for vagueness is very important to ensuring fair
and just criminal system. Void for vagueness refers to a statute that
while defines a crime, it is impossible for a person of ordinary
intelligence to tell what the crime is from that statute. This makes
that statute void because it would be unconstitutional under the 5th
amendment which guarantees due process. - So all should voir dier the
jury on sections of the TAX CODE, when they all fail to understand the
code - which they all do - then GEE GOSH, by this doctrine, the B.S.
Tax code, written on purpose to confuse - so the Criminal gov can hide
its true purpose - would void this whole mess now.

Regarding Chuck Conces Arrest

To the Lawmen:
I was surprised by a phone call from Chuck Conces Tuesday night. Judge
Quist had ordered Conces to appear at the U.S. Marshall's office in
order to answer four questions before DOJ attorneys. Chuck asked if I
could drive him and another witness to Grand Rapids to make the
Thursday morning deadline stated in the order. I can't convey exactly
the wording of those questions, one of them is nearly half a page long,
but they were supposedly to be answered under oath.
These questions were presented under rule FRCP 26 for discovery,
according to Quist in a previous hearing, and were obviously designed
to explore for information while searching for any possibility perjury.
An interesting thing about FRCP (A) is that it explicitly states that
information given under discovery does not have to be made under
penalty of perjury. Conces pointed this out at his hearing later in the
day and Quist went into his quicksilver mode and conjured up an excuse
for why these discovery request/demands don't have to follow the usual
court rules (more fudge in Quist's mouth).
This makes sense, now that it is apparent that the U.S. abandoned their
civil lawsuit against the leader of the Lawmen. The DOJ and Quist are
taking another tack. Chuck is too smart to perjure himself through
their prepared questions, most of which there are no answers for
(disclosing records that never existed etc.). Out of frustration Quist
and the DOJ are remanding Conces to custody.
I and another old friend of Chuck's accompanied him to the 5th floor of
the Gerald Ford Building in Grand Rapids Thursday morning. We arrived
at approximately 11:30 and waited until 5:pm when a rather large but
friendly Marshall notified us that Chuck would be proceeding to a
hearing on the fourth floor. Previous to this a couple of guys came out
of the U.S. Marshal's office and were waiting for an elevator next to
us, they heard us talking about Chuck and whether or not he would be
allowed to leave soon. One of the waiting men that looked like he had a
mouth full of straight lemon juice butted in and informed us that Chuck
was now incarcerated and that he would stay so until he gave them what
they wanted. I almost started laughing; the guy looked like something
out of a Walt Disney movie and was obviously losing it.
It appears that Chuck will remain resolute and not fall for their
cleverly designed perjury gimmick. These people look very sad and if
you know just a little about the operation of our legal system, very
pathetic as well.
Chuck and I have not always agreed, but we are in complete agreement on
our right to free speech. Chuck did nothing that is not protected under
our unalienable rights. These officials may as well get used to it,
either show us the law that compels us to file 1040 tax forms and pay
the tax they claim we are liable for, or quit your jobs as enforcers of
fairytale taxes. It's only going to get worse for these officials. The
truth can only be suppressed for so long, and time is running out on
deception. The sun is rising and the dawn is causing the darkness to
retreat. The enemies of truth are becoming more frustrated. They loose
confidence, as resolute men like Chuck Conces, and all the rest, insist
on their Constitutional guarantees. I think most these officials
erroneously believe just like their Commander and Chief does, that the
Constitution is just a God dam piece of paper

Are Americans required to pay income tax?

Most people know that the federal government wastes money. The War in
Iraq and the inpending war in Iran is an example of this. Perhaps you
don't have to pay an income tax to this wasteful government. Watch the

democrats support the war in Iraq

Yes, you read it right, or at least that is what it seems like. Kent
Conrad, the chairman proposed a funding cut of 20 billion dollars from
next year's war budget. However, the democrats overwhelmingly voted
against that proposal. Their explanation was that they didn't want to
make it look like they didn't support the troops. I forget, what did
we elect them for?
